To aid in facilitating repairs, the busway at the Maple Grove Transit Station closed effective July 16, 2019, according to a Maple Grove Transit rider alert. The closure is anticipated to continue until around mid-August.

The three-level Maple Grove Transit Station ramp, located at 12350 Main Street, serves bus routes 781 and 789, according to city of Maple Grove website

While using the transit station during the repair period, commuters may wish to note the following temporary changes.

According to a
Maple Grove Transit rider alert:
  • A temporary bus stop station for Route 781, 781A, 787, and 789 is located on the east side of the parking ramp, marked by a bus stop sign. Vehicles are unable to use the east ramp during this project.
  • Commuters are requested to use west entry/exit to the ramp for access.
  • The lobby at the transit station lobby remains open, with a marked path for pedestrians.
  • Riders should anticipate "all inbound morning trips" leaving approximately one minute later than posted times "to allow for additional time to walk to the temporary stops."
  • The motorcycle parking stalls are will be unavailable during the project.
During the weekend of July 20-21, the second and third levels of the parking ramp at the Maple Grove Transit Station were closed for repairs. Both levels were scheduled to reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, July 22.
