At the Oct 21. meeting, the Maple Grove City Council approved adopting a resolution to not only establish the proposed The Grove 12th Addition (99th Avenue Apartments) area street and utility
project, but ordered a feasibility report as well.

The Grove 12th Addition "proposes the construction of a 161 unit apartment building adjacent to the upcoming Hy-Vee North site along 99th Avenue," according to documents provided to the council. The developers agreement was approved at the Oct. 7, 2019 meeting. "The site received Conceptual Approval for high density housing with the HyVee North Concept Plan."

Public improvements, such as turn lanes, for the development are anticipated to built by the city.

It is anticipated the city council will hear the results of the feasibility report, completed by the consulting firm of Stantec Consulting Services, at a future meeting.
