Maple Grove Councilmember Erik Johnson has a long and dedicated history of service to the City of Maple Grove, as a Police Officer from 1993 to 2005 and most recently as a Councilmember for the past eight years. Councilmember Johnson’s term expires at the end of 2016, and he chose not run for re-election. During his tenure on the Council, he served as the liaison to the Arbor Committee as well as the Citizen’s Advisory Committee.

As he leaves office, the city is hosting an informal reception in his honor. Everyone is invited to stop by the Government Center 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, from to wish him well and thank him for his years of public service and commitment to Maple Grove. Light refreshments will be served.
