View the Solar Eclipse at the Maple Grove Library

Weather permitting, join other amateur astronomers on the library's south lawn to safely view the solar eclipse together. Drop in or stay for the entire event. Bring your own chair, water, sunscreen, bug spray and snack. A limited supply of special eclipse-viewing glasses provided, according to the Hennepin County Library website.

Estimated local times for phases of the eclipse:

Start of partial eclipse: 11:43 a.m.

Maximum eclipse: 1:06 p.m.

End of partial eclipse: 2:28 p.m.
